A vSeeBox is a small Android streaming media player that connects to any TV with an HDMI port. The current generation — the V6 line — runs Android 14, decodes up to 8K@60fps HDR video, and ships with a Bluetooth voice remote.

If you have seen the name and are not sure whether it is a TV box, a subscription, or a service, this guide clears it up. Vseebox Wave is an Independent Authorized Retailer of vSeeBox products, so everything below is based on the hardware we actually ship.

A vSeeBox is hardware, not a subscription

The most common misunderstanding: a vSeeBox is a device, not a service. You buy the box once and own it. It boots into Android, connects to your WiFi or Ethernet, and runs apps from the Android ecosystem.

We sell hardware only. Any third-party app or service you choose to use on the device requires your own account with that provider — the box does not include streaming subscriptions.

What you get in the box

  • The vSeeBox V6 unit itself
  • Bluetooth remote (backlit on the V6 Plus and V6 Max)
  • HDMI 2.0 cable
  • Power supply
  • User manual (plus an external antenna on the V6 Pro)

What the V6 hardware can actually do

Every V6 model runs Android 14 with over-the-air updates, so the software keeps improving after purchase. All three have 4GB of DDR3 RAM, dual-band WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI 2.0, and USB ports that accept external storage up to 2TB.

The differences come down to chipset, storage, Ethernet speed, and one exclusive feature — split screen, which only the V6 Plus has.

Who a vSeeBox is for

  • Anyone who wants a fast, modern Android player instead of the sluggish smart-TV interface built into their television
  • Households with a 4K or 8K TV that want full HDR and high-bitrate playback without buffering
  • People who prefer a wired gigabit connection for stable streams (V6 Plus and V6 Pro)
  • Anyone who wants to watch two things side by side (V6 Plus split screen)

How to buy one
